The King of Swing Cesaro is expected to miss 4-6 months after his match with Roman Reigns.
Just when you thought the injury bug couldn't get any worse it strikes again and an already thin WWE roster has another big hole to fill. If ever we were going to see NXT call ups now may be the time.
With the Swiss Superman on the shelf it opens up opportunities for others but also puts a big spotlight on a Sheamus/Reigns feud that is still in it's infancy. The authority could make Romans life hell but another mega push like Romans WWE World Heavyweight Title Tournament win would only serve up the same stale taste.
With generally negative reviews for Survivor Series and already dwindling ratings for the weekly Raw and Smackdown it's set to take a bigger plunge. Can creative re-write this hot mess or is this the huge opportunity shows like TNA and Ring of Honor need to grab hold of a larger audience?
Could we be heading for another ratings war or is wrestling fading off in the distance? All I know is it's high time for big changes and if ever the product needed change it's now. A 3-hour show that's lost half it's mid card and is missing a couple of it's top stars sounds like something big could be on the horizon... If not dark days are ahead in what would normally be the best time of the year for wrestling.
